Purpose of the Role
Responsible for installation and maintenance of Network elements and structured cabling on field. Maintenance of UPS and batteries at office and Network Elements sites
Role Description
1. Design and implement structured cabling for all Network Elements(Switches)
2. Responsible for Preventive maintenance of UPS and batteries. Also ensure proper power supply for the Area office and all Network Elements (Switches)
3. Responsible for installation of all Network Elements (Switches) as per company standards
4. Provide proper earthing for all Network Elements (Switches)
5. Prepare and maintain database of UPS and batteries installed and Preventive maintenance done for all Network Elements (Switches)
6. Basic knowledge on Internal Cabling
7. Skill in working with the public, both at customers homes and in large corporate settings
8. Serves as a backup to the Operations team as work load demands
9. This position will be subject to call outs to meet service requirements and stand on call duty. Weekend and holiday work may be required as service demands dictate
